The essence of Krakow

In every historic city there are a few places that every tourist must or should see. In Krakow there is a couple of such places. Starting from the most popular and the most cognoscible as Wawel Royal castle, Main Square, Mariacki Church and ending at Jagiellonian University or Czartoryski museum.

Other tourist attractive part of Krakow is Kazimierz - old Jewish quarter with many old buldings. There is also many pubs and club, so it is recomended to visit it in night too.

Krakow is famous from one other reason. This is unique in Poland or probably in Europe too, that people from Krakow when they want to honour somebody they make him a mound. The most famous is Kosciuszko mound in the west part of a city.
