Wawel
Wawel it is a hill about 200 metres above the sea level. The hill is located in Krakow on the left side the Vistula river. Building complex is situated on the hill, it has a lot of monuments value.
Wawel Royal castle
Wawel was residence for polish kings until the beginning of the seventeenth century. Wawel has got specially place in history of Poland. Important decisions for Polish Country were made in this place Before Wawel Royal Castle was built, fortress that was erected by the Wislanie. It became a base of the Royal Residence. From the eleventh century polish rulers appreciated strategic location hill. The most splendour time of the Wawel was during the reign of Kazimierz Wielki and Aleksander Jagiellończyk. Wawel is not that important in the modern history of Poland. During the Second World War Wawel was a headquarter army of German.
Cathedral of the Wawel
Cathedral of Wawel belongs to the most important buildings in history of Poland. It was a place of coronation polish kings, and it is a place of disposition for a very important polish person.
