Poland - a country in Central Europe

Poland is a country with populations about 38.5 mln, situated in Central Europe. Total area is about 312 thousand km². Poland is bordered by Germany, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Ukraine, Belarus, Lithuania and Kaliningrad Oblast - a Russian exclave. It has also access to the Baltic Sea. The capital is Warsaw - the biggest city in Poland, the second is Krakow and Lodz. Official language is Polish, but there can be a some variant depends on part of Poland.

Basic information about law in Poland

During trip through foreign country it is useful to know somethings about law which must be respected. Non knowing about rules don’t dismissed from responsible for breaking the law.

Information about road law. It is quite similar to rules that are in other european countries. Speed limit is 90 km/h (kilometer per hour) in non urban area, 130 km/h on the highway. In urban area it is 50 km/h, but sometimes there are additional signs which rise this restriction. Law for foreigners are a little different than for Polish. If policeman put a fine to foreigner, he must pay for it during police control.

If you want to have a joy in city you must avoid drunk alkohol in public area, being loudly specially at night. In some cities there are restrictions about smoking at a bus station.
